I have lived in Brimestone since it was northing more than a spec. Before the railroad came through and almost before the mines. I have always been a miner and I know my trade like the back of my hand by gum. I know dynamite and have worked with it day in and day night so I knows how dangerous it can be. I have seen men's arms be blown from here to yonder and can attest my own has only been saved by the grace of god before. That is why it is so concerning to see a shop just full of the stuff open up in Brimestone. I like to come in to town for an evening of fun and company not for ANOTHER night full of explosions. How many buildings will we loose this time? The general store with it's supply is fine it is that new place the Kohler Mining Corporation. It is huge and packed with dynamite, ghost rock, and who knows what other new science horrors. The creepy propriator always feels off, like he is measuring you for a coffin. Now I am no yellowbelly and I laf at danger but he puts me right off my whisky. Him with all that dynamite just about makes a man shudder. That aside he always does a lot of business, but I won't buy from him. I buy from the people I have know for years. So who does he sell to? World Tree? Black River? He's not telling, but he sure does sell a lot. I also saw his new house is no where near his shop, so he knows about how dangerous it is, but he doesn't care if it is not his head on the line. It's fine for townsfolk to be near a bomb waiting to go off as long as he isn't. With the things he puts in the windows that "auto miners" and the like how long until an auto-to-mo-ton that can wield a pick comes walking out of that shop? Where will us miners be then? He won't care then like he doesn't care now!
