Claude Dubois, a former soldier of the French Foreign Legion with a spotty past as a hired gun and demolitionist, met his end after throwing in with Sammy Lions and his half-baked jailbreak.
After Claude's rebirth, he decided upon the name "Hatchet Jack" due to his fondness of tomahawks.
He tells people that he worked as a miner up north, where he learned explosives. Supposedly, since then he's done a little of everything to get by.
