Laurence Crow was born on the Great Plains during a tumultuous summer storm, specifically the Nebraska/Sioux Nation territory borders to a Lakota man named Chayton (Falcon) and a white woman named Marissa Reeves. 
He was raised in the Nebraska Territory by his mother, with his father spending as much time as he could from the tribes to help raise his son who he named Khangi (Crow) with stories of the Great Spirits and creatures beyond normal society.  

He grew up with the knowledge of two worlds, spending time with his father in the Sioux Nation when he was a young boy. He was skilled with a bow while on native land but preferred the power of firearms. 

When he was 14, his mother was murdered and the man who did so managed to get into the Sioux Nation. This could not stand in Law's eyes. He took a bow and stalked the man, murdering him in the territory and fleeing afterwards. 

The anger at the law failing him turned to a drive to take it into his own hands. He worked hard and became a ranger at the age of 19. He was skilled in the handling the public and was moved from place to place. His exemplary work in quelling the fears of the masses had him promoted to Sargeant at the age of 24. 

Laurence hasn't unjustly killed a man since his mother's murderer and tries to bring them in alive if possible. If not he won't cry over it. 

His newest assignment is Brimstone, a bustling boomtown with its fair share of rumors, secrets and weirdness.
